I am a "Renaissance Woman", rushing to accomplish as much as possible in my retirement years.

So far I have...

• translated three little books of Finnish folk tales for children into English and illustrated them
• written books for educational publishers - Scholastic and Thomson/Nelson
• self-published a bilingual poetry book in English and Finnish
• been published in e-zines, magazines, newspapers, literary journals and anthologies
• received my PRO pin from Romance Writers of America
• won a writing contest at the Finnish Festival 2006 in Thunder Bay
