I am a "Renaissance Woman", rushing to accomplish as much as possible in my retirement years.

So far I have...

• translated and illustrated three books of Finnish folk tales for children
• written a children's book, A Fine Day on the Lake, for educational publisher, Scholastic Canada
• self-published It's the FINN in Me, a bilingual poetry book
• been published in e-zines, magazines, newspapers, literary journals and anthologies
• received my PRO pin from Romance Writers of America
• won a writing contest at the Finnish Festival 2006 in Thunder Bay
• published a novel, Not His Fair Lady, with Cambridge Books
• translated Suomen lasten Kalevala under the English title, The Kalevala - Tales of Magic and Adventure
• written and illustrated "ABC of Finland: An Educational Colouring Book" with a Teacher's Guide
• with Raili Garth co-written Trailblazers: History of Port Arthur Kansallisseura; Loyal Finns in Canada (1926 - 2002)
