I will be making a 5-minute presentation on The Kalevala—Tales of Magic and Adventure at the OLA (Ontario Library Association) Conference at the Toronto Conference Centre on Front St.

May 26-27, 2010

I will be attending Finn Forum IX in Thunder Bay, ON, making a presentation on the history of Port Arthur Kansallisseura, and presenting the book: The Birch and the Maple, Loyal Finns in Canada, Port Arthur Kansallisseura, 1926 – 2002.

July 28 – August 1, 2010

I will be attending Finn Grand Fest in Sault Ste, Marie, taking part by making a presentation on The Kalevala; working with Heidi Saario on some children’s programming; selling my wares at the tori/market place; and having my paintings on display and sale at the Art Show.

Time permitting, attending the Spring Craft Show a the Suomi-Koti on Eglinton Ave. in Toronto.
